Welcome to The Pod Place. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, studio facilities, and content production offerings. By booking a session or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Business Information

This website and services are operated by:

2. Services

The Pod Place provides podcast recording, video production, editing, and content-related services, including but not limited to:

  • Studio recording sessions

  • Long-form podcast video production

  • Short-form content creation

  • Editing and post-production services

  • Content strategy and distribution (for applicable packages)

3. Booking & Payment

  • All sessions must be booked in advance. We do not accept walk-ins.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • You must book for the correct number of recording participants.

  • If additional recording guests arrive, the price difference will be charged on-site.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule or cancel your session up to 24 hours before your scheduled time.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.

5. Late Arrivals & No-Shows

  • You may arrive up to 15 minutes early for setup.

  • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may incur a $45 late fee.

  • No-shows may incur a $45 charge.

  • If you arrive late and another session follows, your session will still end at the scheduled time.

6. Session Time & Overtime

  • Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.

  • If additional time is available, overtime may be granted and billed at $45 per 15 minutes.

  • Overtime is not guaranteed and is subject to studio availability.

7. Deliverables & Turnaround

  • Standard sessions include a professionally switched long-form video recording.

  • Typical turnaround time is within 24 hours for long-form content and basic social clips.

  • Premium edits, thumbnails, and advanced deliverables may take up to 7 days.

8. Revisions

  • 1 revision is included for long-form edits and premium edits.

  • Basic edits (including standard clips) do not include revisions.

  • Additional revisions may be billed at standard hourly rates.

9. Additional Editing Services

Custom edits (including but not limited to intros, outros, branding, ad integrations, and mistake removal) are available upon request and billed at:

  • $50 per hour (1-hour minimum)

10. Content Ownership & Usage Rights

  • Clients retain full ownership of all recorded content.

  • By using our services, you grant The Pod Place a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use recorded content and behind-the-scenes footage for marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes.

  • We may create and publish behind-the-scenes content from your session.

  • Clients may request to not be tagged in such content.

11. Studio Policies

  • Maximum of 4 recording participants per session, unless otherwise approved.

  • Clients are responsible for their guests’ behavior and conduct during sessions.

  • The Pod Place reserves the right to refuse or terminate service for inappropriate or disruptive behavior.

12. Packages, Memberships & Certificates

  • All packages and service bundles are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Sessions included in packages or certificates must be used within 1 year of purchase unless otherwise stated.

13. Promotions & Discounts

  • First-time session discounts are valid for new clients only.

  • If a returning client uses a first-time offer, the difference will be charged.

14. Done-For-You Services

For clients enrolled in ongoing or high-ticket service packages:

  • Deliverables, timelines, and scope are defined in your service agreement or onboarding documentation.

  • Monthly or package-based services are non-refundable once work has begun.

  • Client cooperation (including timely approvals, communication, and content participation) is required to meet delivery timelines.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Pod Place is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • We are not responsible for lost data due to circumstances beyond our control.

  • Clients are encouraged to download and back up all delivered files.

16. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.

17. Agreement

By booking a session, purchasing a service, or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
